    Hi,
What time does the bookclub start? I mailed a couple of months ago about coming along but never quite made it! Andrea

    Hi Andrea,

Sorry, should really have put that on the post about the next meeting! It starts at 7.30, though we don’t usually actually begin talking about the book till about 8ish. Hope you can make it this time!

Hi – I was wondering if I could come along to this on Monday but I haven’t had a chance to read the book as only just thought about joining. Would I be able to observe on this occasion and I promise to read the book for the next session?!
    Thanks
    Naomi

    Hi Naomi,

That’s not a problem at all. Feel free to come along! Let me know if you would like any more details.

    Gareth.

Hi, I’m new to the area and am thinking of coming along on Monday if thats ok. Just wondering whereabouts is the Woodstock?
    Cheers

  6. Gareth says:

    Hi Lucy,

That’s absolutely fine. The Woodstock is in West Didsbury on Barlow Moor Road. If you come from Didsbury Village towards Chorlton, it’s on the left hand side soon after the Barlow Moor/Palatine cross road – opposite a restaurant called ‘Alberts’. There’s also a map on the pubs home page here.

Let me know if you’re still unsure. Otherwise, I hope to see you on Monday.

    Gareth.

Hi folks, don’t think I’m going to make it tonight. First day in a new job has taken its toll! Would definately love to come next month though. Would you be able to leave a post telling us what the next book is once it has been decided?

    Thanks
    Lucy

  8. Gareth says:

    Hi Lucy,
Don’t worry, I’ll update the site later this week with the next date and book. Hope you can make it next time!
    Gareth
